Is The Sterling School the Right Fit for My Child?
The Sterling School is designed for elementary and middle school students with dyslexia and related language-based learning differences. Our students are often bright, curious, and capable, but may have struggled in traditional academic settings due to challenges with reading, writing, or attention.
Our program best serves students who:
✦ Have been diagnosed with dyslexia or other language-based learning differences
✦ May also experience ADHD, executive functioning challenges, or slower processing speeds
✦ Benefit from small class sizes, structured routines, and a multisensory, individualized approach to learning
✦ Have the ability to work within a classroom setting, with or without support
✦ Are emotionally ready for school and can participate in a group learning environment
✦ To determine whether our school might be a good match, we require a recent neuropsychological or psychoeducational evaluation.
